I like the warmth that you have added to the buildings. I think that the effect you applied to the sky/water takes from it though – something is not quite right about it and makes it a little harder to enjoy looking at. From about halfway down the frame it looks a little cartoonish which contradicts with the upper half (except for the sky). It’s always worth experimenting though! :)
Thanks very much for the comments guys. I was trying to “experience” something different. Got into the photography hobby only for about 2 months. There just seems to be so many things to learn (and to buy of course!).
Here is the original photo, personally I don’t really like the colour of the sky, but not a bit fan of using PS to alternate it. Would you reckon it better without any effects?
I prefer the original over the version with the effects added. It’s a lot more natural looking. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the colour of the sky either. It’s not a jaw dropping sunrise but there’s nothing at all wrong with it.
The bottom half reflection makes an interesting abstract when cropped and rotated 180 degrees. The guy on the bike crossing the bridge is nicely silhouetted in the reflection.
I prefer the original too, photographing water /reflections when fairly new to photography is hard, even I’ve not mastered it and I’m shooting 6 months.
:)
