while i like the buildings and the water i think you’ve pulled down or darkened the tones in the sky too much, there is a whitish band or halo around the buildings… something seems a little off about the whole thing…
looking again at the strong shadows reflected in the water the light should be coming from behind the buildings? that would mean that this sky or rather certainly the darkness/greyness of it does not belong in the same image?
just curiosity really, dont mean to come across as negative in any way:)

fair enough, although looking at his i think you need to darken down parts a lot more. on his there is always an area of almost black which then highlights the whiteness of other areas…

I’m still learning this technique, now I prefer a little lighter version.
It is easier for me to control the contrasts, but the technique is the same
