Dublin today

lousyParticipant
Just a bit of street photography that appealed to me.
Obviously this is Dublin today.. great craic when nobody knows you and nearly everyone is carrying
a camera, so I shot away to my hearts content.
I’d appreciate any thoughts on these.
Patjb7ParticipantA good day to be out Pat-
The second is the pick of the bunch for me,
for some reason-I like the overall saturation-

Street photography can be such fun
and I like this little set.
Loads more but I wont bore you :wink:Pat
ShutrBugMemberYeah certainly the second has got something. Great impression of the hustle and bustle of the city while the street is so still and pensive in appearance.

We took the tour bus to Malahide Castle but TBH it was a waste of time, we had about an hour at the castle, but couldn’t take pictures inside which p***ed me off somewhat and left the tour and went back into the grounds. The bus stopped coming down from Howth summit for a five minute foto shoot… nothing much to shoot really, ‘cept this one.
Anyway nice talking to you and we’ll keep in touch. I’ll take you to a few locations in Sept.

mgstParticipantb318ispParticipantCan I make one comment – get things away from being centralised. Try to get items for attention onto thirds. I can’t help but feel that many of these would be greatly improved if you aligned them in the frame differently. For example, in the second shot, your main point of interest is being diverted by the dominant OOF man in the foreground. If the actor was about 1″ more to the left, this wouldn’t be the case. Both people would be nearer the lines of thirds, and feel better balanced.
lousyParticipantMmmmmmmm
Cheers Brendan.Rules are out the window for this set, it’s just street and nothing particular, but thanks I see your point.
