Hi all..
It was a day of firsts… My first time to shoot in raw, my first time ever to shoot at a gig, and my first trip out with my new dslr, a canon 400d – I’m so totally in love with it :)

Dont know why there are no comments on theses.. I thin they are great, love the two black and whites and the colours in the last shot are amazing.

Congrats on taking some bold steps Quackles, the pictures are promising – if this is your first go at gigs in raw (with a camera you’re not used to!). Some good results by all accounts, I’m forever moaning about the lighting at gigs no matter how nice the audience thinks it looks! I hope you’ve broken in Canon DPP by now – what it does, it does very well.
On a side note, people prefer to see an image in the post thread rather than linked to, somewhere else, plus re-sizing an image to fit on screen is another brownie point and might get people responding more. But this is over a month down the line now since you posted, so you might have it all sussed by now!

Thanks, folks.. Next time, I’ll go for larger images, and less of them :)
Still love my camera as much as my firstborn, still very much learning how to use it, but enjoying the process!
