Dunlewey Church

Visited Dunlewey on a recent family holiday – a ruined church makes a great subject!

Although I’m sure this one is well photographed by now!

    C&C welcome as always.

Nice shot. I’d like to see the colour version of this too De-aRt

Thanks for the comment Mark – we haven’t really worked on the colour version of this one. It was taken with the intention of always being b&w. Just personal preference on our part really.

    Cheers

Looks nice. The processing on the church is a tad heavy handed (maybe).

Also I think there’s too much foreground (maybe).

As you can see I’m very decisive.

It’s actually hard to tell if there is too much foreground because I can’t get all the image on my monitor at once. I’m not sure if the foreground adds a lot.

Anyway, it still looks nice and ye’ve captured a dramatic sky.

There wasn’t actually that much processing done of the church – it just does stand right out of its surroundings!

Maybe you’re wrong, maybe you’re right about the foreground – as you can see we’re very decisive too!! We like it anyway!

Actually it looks pretty fine when printed.

Thanks for taking the time to comment – appreciate it.
