I took a spin over to the Eagles Flying centre in County Sligo at the weekend that I had seen mentioned on PI. Its nice place (in the middle of NOWHERE!) and a they give you a really informative 1.5 hour talk and feeding demonstration. All the birds there are being nursed back to health from injury or sickness for release into the wild so they’re not being raised for hunting or shows.
These shots were taken with the Tamron 28-300mm – maybe not the best lens for the job but the birds kept moving around in the demonstrations. All C&C very welcome as I’d really like to go back there and have another crack at taking some more photos.
The bald eagle looks always good and this one has a very determined look.
I think the empty space to the right is good. But I might crop a litle off the top.
I love the last one. Great dynamic and good composition.
It looks like he’s going to land on that rock!
Maybe you could sharpen that last one a little more.
