Early morning in Wexford

An impromptu morning – I saw orange light coming through the bedroom window so got up to go take photographs. I haven’t done this in a long time so the anticipation was high. Wexford Bridge was the original destination as the wind seemed light…it wasn’t. And as soon as I got there it got dull. I saw some bits of fog at Ferrycarrig. When I got there it was OK, but I decided to on to Killurin. I was happy with what I found and the Sigma 10-20mm really likes this sort of random layout.

Work normally but my body clock doesn’t recognise Saturdays as a day off. When I saw the orange glow I had to get up. What really boosted my enthusiasm is the lens that I thought was dead but is now working better than the day I got it and I wanted to get out there with it. Ironically it wasn’t used on this image.

Just like it. Nice colours and composition :)

A lovely shot, the colours are really beautiful.

One (picky) point might be the loose branch in the foreground look a bit out of place :)

    Thanks folks.

SS – yeah, totally agree. Unfortunately at the time it wasn’t such an issue but when processed it does stick out…like a loose branch.
