jungleParticipant
Myself and Mark went up Our Lady’s Hospital, Cork District Asylum (formerly Eglinton Asylum) on Sat, all the building bar Saint Kevins are still accessible with various degrees of difficulty, the church is in the best condition, so I’ll post them first. I’ve a comment added to each of the photos on http://www.facebook.com/AJ.Photography.Cork” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;, feel free to have a look.
Its a shame that the place has just been abandoned and left to decay and the pigeons. :(

Thanks for looking, obviously theres a pile of photos there so Im not expecting individual C&C, hope you do like them though.
AL.shutterbugParticipantVery interesting set, and agree such a shame it has been left abandoned, even the
organ still there its amazing it hasn’t been ransacked! Well done look forward to
seeing the rest.MarkKeymasterHey Al, nice. You got some shots there I wish I had taken the time to see !
You made good use of the light too !np72ParticipantInteresting shots. The colour ones look a little eerie to be honest, which I think adds to the atmosphere of the place.
PitmaticMemberinteresting indeed looks like you had too much fun :) and eeerie is good in my book too :) cool stuff
jungleParticipantjodal1975Participantreally great set . hdr processing worked a treat on them too…..(except maybe the 2nd one, slightly over done for my liking…but hey..who am i :-) ) . i would be ecstatic to have produced so many pics of that quality…. one would be nice :-)
your self and mark ( saw his too) certainly know how to take a good photo!!jungleParticipantjodal1975 wrote:

Who could ask for more than that :D
brianmaclParticipantI use HDR all the time but my own opinion this is a case of slightly over HDR’d, this is a cool and creepy place with some good comps here but the HDR almost pushes it too far
