A hooded crow that came near my car this morning out at Belfast Harbour. I’m calling him Egor, after Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant.

    EDIT:
12:55 – I reposted this shot. I thought it was a little flat looking so I had another go at the PP.

Aidan he really is taking the hump, 2 nice pictures I prefer the first of the 2.
You are getting plenty down at the harbour, must be like most Belfast things normally take a while to get used to you but after that you are one of the family.

    Thanks Carl,

Looks like my time in Belfast might be coming to a premature end. I’m wrapping up the project I’m on faster than expected or planned for. I was nearly finishing today but there’s a few days more work that I brought to the attention of management. Looks like next week might be my last week. A pity. I was looking forward to setting up the hide along the area on the beach where aircraft come in to get some closer shots of the wading birds. I was planning to do early some morning when there was light and the weather was better. And I wanted to use Belfast as a abse to explore the north for the first time at weekends.

    Doh!

Still, I’m protected with a nice notice period in my contract if I do finish early :-) Maybe I’ll get to shoot some Welsh Red Kites and/or head up to Skye.
