Hi Freshphoto, this is my first post here. I actually joined up to let you know I love these pics. I have lurked around for a while but felt it was the time to make a comment. Your first photo in my humble opinion is definitely worthy of consideration by National Geographic. I love the reality you have captured which brings back memories of my own trips to Egypt around 10 years ago. You have captured a side of this wonderful and beautiful country that not too many visitors see. It still haunts me how (even relatively moderate) wealth can coexist with such abject poverty within walking distance of each other. It`s amazing how the poor always seem to have an open and truly honest smile, while the rich have, well…. nothing but their money and grumpy faces….. Both shots have a really natural colour and personal feel and for me the depth of field and composition of the children in your second pic is lovely. You could perhaps call it “Corporate entanglement” for its simplicity.
Wow!! Two amazing shots!! I haven’t ventured into the Travel section much since joining up..but I think I will more now after seeing these shots…even if I am a little late commenting on them :D
