electric statue / night pic

I know its a bit theatrical but i thought i’d try my hand at it anyway…not sure if the blue light (supposed to be power cable!) makes it OTT?
400d, f9 iso400
220sec.
Steel wool set alight and torch to illuminate backround…
all C&C very welcome.

I like the idea! Perhaps does need a bit more work on it.. In my opinion, the ground is even too lit up. Not too sure about the blue cable alright. Still good effort and I’d try work on it more!

Thanks guys, Vee, i think ur right – i did get a bit carried away with this . i want to retake this another evening and perfect it. i have seen images of people doing this (swinging wire wool etc.) but i thought it pointless to redo so when i saw this statue i thought it might work instead!I see loads to improve now and thanks for ur insight.
