To my eyes you have 3 subjects within your photo without any one of them being the principle point of view. You have the headland on the LHS, the two rocks in the middle and the rock on the RHS. Perhaps it is the rather flat lighting you encountered and it might be better on another day. Another approach to your composition might also help. I would be inclined to ignore the headland and base my composition on the centeral rocks and the one on the RHS.
yeah the elephant rock is the large one on rhs… the title is bit confusing… to yourn right where you were standing is huge rock, from there you can actually see the whole elephant

this one shows the elephants rock silhouette… what i meant in my previous post was that if you position yourself closer to the big rock on the right you will see the whole elephant…
