Took a trip to the zoo last week.

Managed to stumble across the elephants being fed and watered at the same time.

and I snapped this one of a waterfall, which I like, but I think the sky at the top is a bit blown out. Any tips on how to avoid/repair that?

    Cheers,

    Dave

Did you shoot RAW or JPEG?

Very little that you can do so.
I would personally recommend that you shoot RAW in future as over exposures such as yours can be easily fixed.
I know that RAW will also use more memory space but it’s a small sacrifice.

Looks like you used a longer shutter speed too which wouldnt help with the
sky, a ND graduated filter would have helped, but very little can be done in
post processing really. Nice shots though really like the elephants having a
    bath….nice one.

    Thanks, John and Jenny.

Appreciate the tips. Will take them on board.

For its too much the post processing, you over did the sharpening of your photos at least in the uploaded sizes.
