Roberto, I really like the graphic nature of this shot! The curved and straight lines really work for me.

Really like the composition and texture of the pillars.
Also the combination of Light & Shade – a personal favourite.

I love this image, the tones, lines etc.

The only thing I would change would be the direction of the steps. They are leading you out of the picture, rather than to the right (into the picture).

See attached – does it make any difference ?

This is all left brain/right brain stuff when it comes to “leading”. Lateral thinkers would see nothing incongruous about either image. Expecting to be led from left to right as if reading text should really be regarded merely as a guide rather than a copperfastened rule. Rules are there not necessarily to be broken, though certainly to be bent to a degree for the sake of creative expression. “Everything is cracked – it’s what lets the light in” Leonard Cohen

On a different note, the fact that Kevin’s mirroring of the original image is something that doesn’t actually exist in the real world but rather in his own imagination, does the image then cease to be a photograph? https://www.photographyireland.net/viewtopic.php?t=90

On a final note, I quite like this image Roberto. A good combination and composition of light and shadow, curves and lines. Interesting.

    Rob.
