epson 2100 printer ??

i have been given a epson 2100 printer and just wondering what to do with it. it hasn’t been used in a good few years. would i need to do anything to it before using it like clean the ink pipes out it was left with ink in it. or is there no point in using it and just scrap it?any advise would be great.
The 2100 is a good printer, although it is a few generations old inks are still available. Download the latest driver from epson.co.uk and see how it goes. It will probably need a couple of head cleans. If it works but has missing lines, tehn more extreme cleaning is required. PermaJet do a good product called clever clogs which will shift most blockagages.
