Very good Rob. Being Welsh I say “aitch”. Being Irish, my waens say “haitch”.
A teacher in primary school told John’s class that Catholics say “haitch” and Protestants
say “aitch”. So… if you can’t tell from the proximity of their eyes, you get them to spell

I posted this one specially for you Pete, knowing you’d like it. I was torn
between titles – “In memory of Aitch”, “Called ‘ome”, “Aspirate Interred” –
but settled for what you see…Rob.
Its all very confusing…
In London, the same people who laugh at you for dropping the aitch in ‘Three’
will lecture you on the proper pronunciation of name of the river that flows through the capital-And never a trace of hirony…

I feel qualified to chip in on this one…. Definately aitch for me …. I hope no-one is going aroung thinking of me as Mr ‘Haitch’ that wouldn’t be right at all….. although I wouldn’t rule myself into any church based on that.

The fact that you are Mr aitch not Mr Haitch proves you’re a Protestant. Simple.
If you thought you were anything else, measure the distance between your eyes for confirmation.
