IrisParticipant
Thanks Mick451 for your support, and everything you said in your post, is very true. what you said about steve is probably very true as well, and i wouldn’t doubt you. If you said he did a good job for you, and you have no reason to lie about it, then its true.
There is lot more people on here that he probably did good jobs for as well and i don’t dought them, but I find it very strange that a business man (Sheldon) has come on here without knowing all the facts and has supported someone (who has yet to join this thread) that did a crap job for me, and then basically said that i shouldn’t be entitled to a grant.I also find it very strange the steve hasnt joined this thread, either to confirm or deny he did a crap job for me.
MarkKeymasterSteve hasn’t joined in the conversation mainly because he is also a moderator on the site.
So I don’t see it as strange that he wishes not to discuss this in the open however hard it might
be for him not to.You’ve been provided with some recommendations to select from, so be it Steve (who does
excellent work) or someone one of the other site sponsors who will also do good work is for you
to choose and best of luck with that decision. Please keep any further public comments about Steve off the site and discuss with him directly
if you feel the need.Members are of course allowed express their opinions on service providers but I think that
this is a bit one sided which is unfair. Also folk please keep the discussion on topic. Any issues with other areas/items, again take them
up directly with the person if possible.Regards

Just to set the record straight, any items that are purchased for me abroad are “Gifts” as stated on the customs waybill.
I’m not sure if you are trying to indicate by this that because they are marked as “Gifts” (or indeed are gifts), that you have no liability for duty and VAT.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. In general, if the item is valued at more than €45, then you would be liable. This leaflet explains it in detail :

MarkKeymasterFolks,
I’ve been told from a couple of you that Iris is pm’ing people about moderation of this thread.
I wish to clarify the reason for the moderation (which was the standard removal of the thread for review
and place back the unmoderated portion):This discussion was rapidly going downhill and going nowhere, I asked that any more discussions
regarding Steve’s work be discussed directly with Steve. Its not for the site to facilitate disagreements
between businesses. However Iris disregarded this and has continued to post up here trying to illicit a
public response from Steve. Therefore the further posts has been moved. I had a pm with Iris on this
received no response, only to find that other’s are being pm’d instead.I want to make it clear that people are allow provide their comments positive or negative regarding
the services they receive from any advertiser on this site. This is evident by the simple fact that
several days of Iris’s comments were and continue to be allowed on the site!!!Thanks for your time

The people that i wanted to know the truth, now Know, and have seen the pictures and can decide for themselves. My conscience is clear..!
MarkKeymasterIris,
I’m not 100% sure what you’re alluding to here but I don’t appreciate the you calling into question
my honesty and integrity. The reason is the reason and was clearly explained to you here and in a pm (which you didn’t reply to).
I really don’t understand what your issue is here at this stage. The thread was moderated by myself
‘before’ you posted up any photos and you were told take this up with Steve directly (who by the way
I now understand offered you a refund at the time of purchase!!!) or Consumer Affairs. With that any
further discussion by you was removed. You can either accept the moderation or not. The decision is final,
please read the rules on this.It appears to me that you have dug a hole which appear to be expecteding 360 to get you out off
and are now determined to drag the site into it.For the final time, please take your grievances with any of 360 dpi’s work off the site.
We are not here to facilitate issues that you have with an advertiser. You have had your time here to complain about Steve’s work and therefore have very little
to complain about in terms of any openess and honesty regarding the site !Discussion over.
