Taken 20 May 2011 at Glenealy, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. I’ll try and get out again at sunset before the maize pops through the plastic..as the sun will set at the top of this field (according to my smartphone sundroid app)
Canon 7D & Sigma 10-20mm. 5 exposures at f/16, blended in Photomatix.

well….you know a lot more about photography than me so I won’t describe this as C&C, just a suggestion…….would a panorama approach improve it? it looks great as it is, but I think those plough lines are a bit too dominant, the sky and trees are the most attractive part of the image for me. i would consider a panorama that places the tree line 1/3rd from the top of the image….i.e. cutting out a lot of the plough lines and some of the sky.
