For some strange reason I seem to prefer capturing dead flowers more than one’s in full bloom. Thought this rose still had a bit of character.

Haven’t been on here since last week and I’ve just realised that this shot looks like it’s been seriously oversharpened compared to the flickr version. I’d have expected it to lose detail if anything – not add it :?. Very strange!Thought I commented on this.. Very nice contrast with the black background, nice detail. I don’t mind the sharpness even though it’s on the border of being too much, kind of suits it at the moment. Very nice! :)
