    Hi folks,

The jury is still out- but thought I’d have a play with the above.
    Any C n C greatfully received.

    Thank u

Something about the images grabs me, I like the colours and the HDR is barely noticeable, which makes it good HDR.

Not mad about the 1st one but the second is a winner for me. I don’t know why as I’m still trying to decide whether I’m on the HDR side or not generally.

I think it works better in the second because of the stones and colours in the foreground. My tuppence worth..!

    Hi folks,

Honest critique is worth it’s weight in gold- and a different pair of eyes will see different things in the same image.
just fyi, the images were produced using Photomatix Pro.
It’s a nice programme to play with I must say- and these images are my first serious stabs at HDR.

    Thank u , very much. :)

I usually hate HDR because people tend to OVERdo it. These shots (to me anyway), are how HDR should be used. The scene still looks natural after the processing. #2 is my pick from these, but because of the shooting angle, it feels slanted. Maybe a slight rotate would help to fix this. Well done.

    Hi Miki

Yes, totally agree on the overdoing HDR bit- and I did make the conscious effort to be a bit more subtle.

Thank you for the feedback my man…think its time to get a right angled view finder for my D200!! :D
