    Hi,
I have been asked by a few friends about photographing their kids etc and it got me thinking that I could maybe organise a two day event in my local town where I could advertise this and make some money to help me purchase new equipment for my photography.
What things do I need to consider for this in terms of insurance, copyright of images and so on? I am only starting out and have nothing like this in place.
I had thought that I would be able to provide a certain amount of images on disc with maybe 1 or 2 prints.
Any information on insurance etc would be great.
    Thanks
    EMC

You’ll need PL and PI insurance.
Model release forms (if you want to use the images for anything other than selling them back to the person in the photo).
    Copyright is automatically yours.

For insurance, you could try looking at http://www.camerainsurance.ie
