I dunno, having the supporter of a poor man’s Chelsea as a nemesis doesn’t exactly fill me with dread…but, hey ho, anything for a cheap giggle.
;)“Fantasy Football Guru” was the actual quote amigo. Scouse and Fantasy are probably a fitting combination… especially where “Winning the League” and most of Benitez player acquisitions are concerned.
Shame we can’t get a pot going… €20 a man… winner takes all… bit ‘o cash at stake always makes things more interesting.

Well as reigning champion from last year I am quietly confident :) Never did get that prize in the post Mark lol … NFL Fan, where did you finish last year? I could do with some sort of a challenge this year, dont want to be out of sight by March again :)
Sounds like we have a lot of footie fans so the banter should be good…Wasn’t about last year when it kicked off on PI… but I have had teams in the premierleague.com the last 3 seasons and have always done quite well. I cracked the top 50 one year which wasn’t bad considering there was something like a couple a hundred thousand entries.
We used to run them at work too… bagged a few quid from those ones.
They’re a lot more fun when there’s a bit of “friendly competition” going… otherwise people tend to forget about their team, don’t make transfers and end up with a squad of crocked & dropped players.

And then they use the old “Well I haven’t been trying in ages, no wonder I’m behind”. Sure…you’re just crap :D
I’ll be like a hawk this season… now we have a challenge going… Potential Transfers, Injuries, Teams not playing during a certain week, Team playing two games in a week, form guide… I’ll be all over it like a rash.
Its a pity the pool did’nt scout you as a coach because if you could put in the time and effort you talking about here yous might even come second in the league
