We’ll see how United cope when Ronaldo p*sses off to Madrid and United have to find 40+ goals somewhere else.
Mick451ParticipantSeeing as how we finished with a goal difference of +19 over youse lot and may get around £50m for Ronaldo, on top of the usual £30m transfer kitty, I’m not losing much sleep. Berbatov….two please and keep the change, luv.

Its a pity the pool did’nt scout you as a coach because if you could put in the time and effort you talking about here yous might even come second in the league
stand up for the champions…………
This year is Liverpool’s year you know
nfl-fanParticipantI’ve been tinkering with the squad all morn.. gone from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2 and got rid of one of me top midfielders who was eating up too much of me budget… so’s I could add some more quality in other areas.
JodyParticipantnfl-fanParticipantNot much point as the season doesn’t start for another month.. things will change.
I see Man City were “edged out” in the Ronaldinho chase  Like he’d ever waste his time there… maybe when he’s about 36, washed up and looking for his last big contract.
JodyParticipantnfl-fanParticipantYep, that crossed my mind but I’d say he’s moreso just fed up with Barca and all the drama.
Reports now saying Chelsea have offered £47m for Robinho… FFS  Imagine how good Arsenal would be if Wenger had £47m to spend… in fact FIFA should demand that Wenger be given at least £20m every year considering the loaves and fishes job he does with young, unknown players.

John I think you will find Real Madrid have valued him at £48M+………..Chelsea’s valuation is £30M less…………………..a more reasonable £18M !!!!
nfl-fanParticipantYep.. read a few reports.. in this one they “deny” the £47m offer..
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/16072008/58/premier-league-robinho-considers-chelsea-offer.html
Not sure he’s even worth £18m… never did a tap at Real… £12m would be a more reasonable price.
JodyParticipantYeah, Robinho is definitely one of the most over rated players out there…I can’t believe they’re even considering buying him, never mind spending 30 million
ossie13ParticipantTo be honest John I think if Ribery was fit we wouldn’t be looking at Robinho………….but then there’s the Brazilian connection!!!

Another over rated player IMO.
I read this morning that Schweinsteiger is available for 10M…he’s the real deal, he should be snapped up

A bargain.. not many miles on the clock either.. although Chelsea have a glut of midfielders.. would like see him at the Pool or Arsenal.

Definitely. He’d be a joy to watch every week. I think he’d do better in Arsenal’s formation than Pool’s though
