Feather

Didn?t think it fit in either Abstract of Wildlife. I?d like peoples? C&C on this image please. It doesn?t quite stick to the ?rules? but for some reason I seem to like it.

I think the lens flare emphasises the heat on the feather so I?d like to keep it. My question is should I get rid of the flare ?spot? in the centre of the image??

Any other comments welcome.

all i see it a red X !!!! how do i get rid of that?

I like your idea here but for me the flare is just too strong as it competes for your attention when viewing and not the feather.Maybe if the DOF was to bring just the feather up crisp it would help.Like the concept though! :D

Technically, I could find quite a few flaws in this, certainly enough to lead to a full and detailed critique. But for what ever reason, I don’t care about the technical flaws in this, I just like the image, so I’m not going to read too much into it. There’s a such a nice feel, it really makes me want to be in that field at that time. Nice shot, well spotted, great eye!

Thanks for taking the time to add your comments. I knew the image was technically ‘flawed’ but like Ciaran, it seemed to capture me. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t just me.

I agree with Ciaran, Shame that flare spot is red, maybe change the colour of it?
