Love the composition of this one Conor. Though for some reason it seems to
be crying out for more light on the swan’s head.
The focus is beautifully sharp right down to the tiny droplets on the swan’s neck.
Good exposure.

Conor I agree with rob on the lot, it must be very difficult to get the light right around the swans head as it has seemed to happen in both of the swan shots you have posted. Other than that lovely colours and great detail.

Thanks for the input lads.Swans are difficult allright,the light was coming onto him from his far side,you can see under the neck is dark too, but I like the play of light and shadow,it seems to feature more in my shots lately.

I love this portrait Conor. Is my favourite swan shot on the site at the moment. Very tranquil..lovely colours and very sharp.
