Taken in Dun Laoire yesterday, a great buzz around the place with lots going on,
worth a visit, it is on today as well.and another
DougLParticipantThere both nice, but I really like the first one. It’s an excellent portrait, of a really interesting subject!
I’ve been on call all weekend, so I couldn’t go…bummed :(

shutterbugParticipantMikkaParticipantJenny,
#1 is a great image. Colour, detail, exposure all look good to me. It’s a lovely vibrant portrait, sort of eptomises the festival itself, well done.
Like Doug, been on call myself this weekend so missed out on this and the Airshow………../Mikkamiki gParticipantHi Jenny.
#1 is excellent. Lovely composition, colours, detail & the colourful background. Would be a great shot for advertising this event or a similiar one. Well doneshutterbugParticipantThanks very much Mikka & Miki, he was a lovely gent and he was very
good to pose for me, his whiskers were amazing :)TinyMemberReally colorful and vibrant shots there.. and somewhat unique subjects to… not something you see a lot
shutterbugParticipantThanks Tiny, there were two girls doing the mad hairdo’s, they were so quick
and very imaginative, just picking people out of the crowd and the results were
amazing.HolditParticipantshutterbugParticipantgezzaParticipantI love no 1 – the colours really jump out of the screen an excellent portrait- the background in no 2 is a little distracting but v interesting subject.
sorry to have missed it too.
gerry
shutterbugParticipantThanks Gerry, agree with you on the second shot, if I had just moved him a little to the left
I would have avoided the hoarding, the hairdo’s were something else :)esthermolineParticipantHi, Jenny! These are brilliant portraits, specially the first one! I guess the second one is more about the hairdo and it’s a pity about that hoarding, but still a great portrait! It’s only when you look in more detail that you notice all these little things that could have been better, but the first impression is what counts most and in my case it was WOW!!I meant to go to this festival this year, I’ve never been to it, but I had too much on. Hopefully next year!
shutterbugParticipantThanks Esther, you should go it is always very good, the weather added to it
this year though, a great weekend with plenty to see and keep you snapping away!ShutrBugMemberBoth are nice but No. 1 is particularly good! Such lovely bright colors and bright smile from the subject himself.
