SeaviewParticipantA lovely collection of images, well captured. I really like the one of the bride in the car.
Dave.
AnonymousParticipantYou have some lovely images but I don’t get the vast amount of space about the couple when standing under the tree.
I wouldn’t like the shot of the brides feet either.cbrloverParticipantMaybe I am not qualified to give critique on this subject but you do have them in the critique section so ere goes.
I would agree with the above that there is too much space around the subjects in the shots with the trees but that is your choice, I am sure you see them different to what I see.
The big thing for me is your white balance looks way off. Looking through the pictures I see many different shads of white or off white in the brides dress. Even in the three side by side by the trees the colour is different. I am sure the bride would spot this as colours are something they put a lot of thought and effort into. You might want to adjust this, it can be a quick fix in PS but much better to get right in the first place.
Just my thoughts.
PhotoSligoMemberThanks Cblover
It is from editing:) WB was same for all thre shots and it is ok in RAW.
Bride is happy!!She loves it:)
Dress was not white it was kind of vintage sephia colour.i can see third photo of bride is we bit colder in colour than first two.
Thx John.PhotoSligoMemberIs there any reason Johny you does not like shoes shot?
Why you would like to give less space around bride or groom when standing uner tree, is it any reason?
I did it, couse would like to have DOF on 1.4AnonymousParticipantI think it’s not a good angle to shoot from, looking down at her feet. Again the grass accounts for about 2/3rds of the image.
I think if I were to take that image I would get on the ground, level with her feet & try a few shots from there.
Regarding the other shots there is too much of the tree in the shot. The individuals look lost underneath it.
But don’t focus too much on my critique. Like I said in my initial post, you have some wonderful shots.
Nice work on your site. Love the strawberry!PhotoSligoMemberJohny,
Any constructive critique is fine:)
This is why forum is.
Thanks for looking on my web!

Darek NovakandybenitezParticipantYou have some brilliant shots here that will help fill up an album or can be used as background images.
This is something I have tried and struggled with, and you do it very well indeed.
I would feel the same about the tree shots however, as long as the bride is happy, thats all that matters
