    Caught early one evening

Struggled to find something original here, but any help you can offer will be welcomed with open arms

All of these show that you have a good eye for what makes a good photograph.

No 1: There is a rather large blown out area where the sun is. If you shoot straight into the sun you’ll always get some bit blown out in my opinion it’s just a bit too dominant.

No2: Nice, have you put it in the Rainbow topic in this forum?

No3: The sea is sloping down on the left. It would be better if it were horizontal. You can correct this in any photo editor.

Also, when putting multiple photos in one post try seperating them with a few blank lines, it kind of frames them and prevents them running into each other.

Just my two cents worth, and I’m no expert.

    Keep shooting,

    Aedan

Also, might be an idea to leave a copy of the rainbow here, or change your numbering system.

Also, might be an idea to leave a copy of the rainbow here, as the first reply gets a bit confusing.

    Hi icarus,

Pixelle is not being too fussy.
If you modify a post after a member replies it is possible
that the reply will not make any sense to subsequent viewers.

In this case Aedan’s reply is a little confusing.
You can post the image in the other topic and leave it here as well.

    Cheers,

    John.

I wonder if it would be a different take on the lifeboat pic
if the dof were reduced to throw the chains out of focus?

And a crop from left and right, perhaps?

I like the small patches of light on the water in the first picture.
