Maybe I should have pointed out that I was after a pre-owned model, also a film scanner as opposed to a flat bed.

Thanks, ffordes have a few options there alright, but still kind of expensive with postage & sterling costs.

i own an epson v700 and it can produce images of almost as good quality as a nikon coolscan 9000, check out this for a review
