The second one (colour) is the better shot for me personally although the B+W is also a great shot!
do you have one without the hand?
I think its the hair that makes this shot, as a frame for that face, or those eyes in particular. The hand may be interrupting that, and although it is expressive, it maybe covering up more of the face than I’d like.

Nope.. unfortunately not. I spent HOURS yesterday walking around looking for photos and this is the only shot I took. Thankfully it was in focus :) I’m not too bothered by the hand though., in fact I’m probably going to go hunting for similar shots today and wait for them all to put their hands up to their mouths before snapping.
hi ciar?n. two excellent photos. Id love to take that kind of a photo but sometimes find it hard to approach people and ask. but i suppose they wont bite the hand off me. maybe! Im more of a hide behind a tree person or when they are looking away.

The worst thing they can do.. is say “no” and how bad is that really? Then you can resort to hiding behind trees :)
