First Attempts

Hi Folks
Here are some first full manual attempts on my canon powershot 570, mostly landscape. Would appreciate some comments. Thanks a lot.

Well done on going manual :), brave move and you’ve done quite well with it too.

Favourite would be the last one, nice composition and colour.
Like what you were trying to do with the beach ones, nice symettry. Also like the cow shot.

You’ll probably get more comments if you only post 2-3 at most in a thread and keep the size
of them down so that they’re viewable on a regular screen in one go, so something say 800px wide would do the job. :)

Nice set for your first post and the last would be the best-
As Mark suggested keep em a little smaller-

Very well done on your first attempts at manual. My first attempts were no where near that standard! Like the first and last one.. Cows make excellent subjects with their natural curiosity.. whoops even in this case if it is a bull.. close enough lol..

Thanks for the encouragement. It gives me more incentive to keep snapping :-)

As regards the size. If I make them small enough then do they automatically fit in the post without the thumbnail (click here for full size option) ? I keep them to 2 or 3, thats cool.
