love the focus on number two, i think this area looks like it could be fantastic for long exposures, maybe you should return just before dusk with a tripod, either way great work.
Clever use of depth of field in no. 2. Perhaps no. 1 needed to be in focus from front to back. The dof experiment in the third didn’t work (for me) – I can’t see what is in focus.
#1 Too much sky , adding nothing to your photo. Crop at least half of it out for a more compact photo.
#2 The out of focus timbers in the foreground spoil the shot by making it difficult to focus on anything else.
#3 Under exposed – no light no life.
I would imagine that it is no effort to revisit this site and would be well worth it. Check out the work of John Hooton from Mallow Camera Club for great beach shots.
