First Camera (Ahhhhhh!)

The new Sony A100 is a fantastic camera, great review and beating all similarly priced Canon and Nikons. It’s a 10.2 mp camera. Sony make the chips/sensors for Nikon and the A100 has an improved Nikon D200 chip/sensor and the Sony A100 is based on the very good Minolta Dynax 7D and 5D. The Sony is a simliar (or higher) spec camera to the D200 for almost half the price. Sony bought over Minolta’s photographic business. I’m on the verge of Sony A100 or used Minolta Dynax 7D or 5D. I currently use film Dynax 7 and it’s a fabulous camera.
Finally settled on the Nikon D70 18-70mm kit, together with 2gb CF card and filters , bag etc, spent about ?1400 – Bargain! :D
My attempts to sway to the new Sony A100 failed….. dow! It’s not too late… is it.

I’m afraid its too late to change my mind now – just got it on Tuesday – still a bi frightened of it!
