    Phil,

    keeping old cameras isn’t sad it’s smart.
    I’m upgrading from a 350d to a 30d ( unless i hear about the 40d )
    and there is no way i’ll get rid of my 350d.

    Oh and i ordered a Canon Pellix QL / FT QL cannot wait to get my hands
    on some classic engineering

    Yes Graham I agree it is smart to hold onto old cameras.
    I did not mention the other 9 cameras sat in a display cabinet in my studio! From box brownies to an agfa isolette and other folding roll film cameras and an ancient 5×4 field camera.
    Most would still work, but are kept for display, gives some people who come in something to talk about other than the wonderful irish weather we are having.

    Canonet 28. Had to give it up because the shutter went.

    My first camera was a Pentax K1000 then I upgraded to the Pentax ME SUPER. I still have the K1000. The body is in good shape, I have gone through three lens and currently needs another new lens.

    Nikon Coolpix 2000, cost ?300 when bought for me by my parents for my 18th birthday!! it’s not worth 300 cents now
