First D-SLR

I’ve bin looking around for a while and have decided to buy my first D-SLR,
I started looking at the Canon EOS 400D and reading about it. Most people and sites say it’s a great camera so I decided 2 buy it online.

I saw it advertised in a photography magazin on equipment express.co.uk

I don’t know if it’s reliable, don’t think I’ve ever heard of them before.
Before you buy make sure you’re getting a good deal. By the time you account for the exchange rate and P&P you might be better off buying local and having the security of a local guarantee.
Just my two cents worth!

i can deffo vouch for seans third link, AKA as cam-ireland. Absolutely top to buy off, and the owner always returns e-mails. have used them in past and will continue to in future

Thanks for the advice lads,

Yeah I was talkin to a friend and he said 7 dayshop are good to buy from.
He got his EOS350 there and had no problems looks like i’m buying from there good price and reliable.

I saw the EOS 400D in Waterford city for ?900 with just a 18-55mm lens no accesories or memory card, crazy!

Just one thing to be aware of in relation to 7dayshop:

They are not actually in the EU and therefore the payment of Customs Duty and VAT is applicable for items purchased from 7dayshop.

I’ve bought from them several times, but always low priced items, so I’ve never had any hassles but its just something to be aware of.

Would recommend a Pentax K100d from Pixmania.com at ?479 plus dely. EXCELLENT entry level DSLR!
