A picture i took during tha weekend,not great,but comment’s welcome.
Sean.
jb7ParticipantWell it looks like you’ve discovered that focus is quite tricky with small things-
It may not have changed the picture too much to have placed the camera parallel with the flower head-
which might have placed the plane of sharp focus on the petals-As it is, the stem looks in focus, and its a bit of a distraction-
Looks like there wasn’t a lot of light,
so that can’t have helped-
so you’ve done good here-Wheelies, flowers-
none of it is easy, you know :Dj
beefParticipantHmm, tis a bit soft where you would expect it to be sharp alright. A tripod and manual focus may have been the way to go here? A plain dark background such as the one used in Josephs recent shot might also give the flower more impact I think…
cheers,

Thank’s for comments,Yes im trying every tning at the moment..i actually bought a new macro lense, before i went to dublin for the weekend, but was not happy with the results. So i went back to Jessops today. And it turns out, that the lense i was given, was not a full macro.
Thank god i thought,as 450 i paid for it,i was expecting better preformance.
But they were good about it,and let me change to a real macro lense for a few pound more. :D :D
