DratomParticipant
I said in my intro thread that I would put some images up of some friends coming by. Let me know what you think the good and bad!

I really like the composition in the third one
Thanks Michelle! This was the first time for me to shoot a couple, and positioning was a challenge for me. After looking at them I see where errors were made and how to improve for the next time.
michelleansParticipantJust a thought. I’d try getting them to look at each other maybe? I think that looks quite “coupley”
DratomParticipantHere is a link to a few that I put up for them to look at. Let me know what you think. There are only two that I really like. I have a few where they are looking at each other but they are more goof off type images. I’ll get them up later tonight on the site.
Thanks,
JD
jb7Participantsg2 looks like the strongest shot to me by far-
one of the important things about photography in the modern age is the amount of images you shoot-
in the future,
I presume we’ll be able to capture in real time-meaning that we’ll just have to spend all our time editing-
Its difficult to pick the best shots out of hundreds of captures-
but I like that one-Better to post one strong pic,
than lots of lesser ones, in my opinion-j
DratomParticipantThanks JB7 sg2 and sg7 are the two I like the best. I still need to finnish going through them there may be a few more there. I took a roll of B&W 120 that I will get back on friday. Hoping there are at least one or two there.
michelleansParticipantI also like sg2 the best.
Would like to see the one’s where they are looking at each other too when you have time!
jubileeParticipantSg2 is the only one where they seem like a couple. Personally i don’t really see any intimacy between the two. i think couple shots do better having this.
nice shots though
DJHParticipantNo. 2 is great picture, composition and light works well.
With No. 1 there is just too much shadow over the face and upper body, the side lighting is a little strong. But that’s just an amateurs option …
I like no 3 composition
nice shots

Thanks for the C&C, here are a few from the film that may be a little more to your liking. Oh, and Michell I will get up one of them looking at each other.

D.Thanks DJH, I thought the lighting was a little harsh too, but it was after the fact when I noticed it. They both liked it though.
lousyParticipantI like 2 and three of the first post, but the latter two are excellent for me anyway. The kiss is perfect
Pat
DratomParticipantThanks Pat! Funny…. I took 12 images on film and 75 with my digital. I like two on film and maybe three or four in digital. Hmmmm
