connieParticipant
This robin was not camera shy!
Snooze time.
Think this is a pigeon
There is something about this I like.
PussnbootsMemberConnie they are fab the first two are brill and like you I like the last one too its like entering a dreamworld where life meets its reflection. How far away were your subjects and what lens did you use Connie? You got up really close to them. Great shots!
shutterbugParticipantLovely set Connie, gorgeous Robin and a strange looking pidgeon allright he
looks to have a longer beak than most, but could be the angle!Good luck with the new camera, nothing like a new camera for getting the
juices flowing again :lol:connieParticipantThank you both. Jenny it takes a bit more getting used to but I do love it. Pussinboots, I used canon 70-200L F4 is usm, but I cropped the pictures in raw prior to edit in Photoshop. This gives the illusion that I was much closer than I am. :D
PussnbootsMemberThanks for the reply Connie, you did a great job of them they look fab! :)
miki gParticipantHi Connie.
The 7D is a great camera & these shots look like you’ve mastered it already. Keep up the good work.PadraigParticipantconnieParticipantLOL Miki many thanks. What you didn’t see was the total of 160 shots taken and only about 30 of them usuable. But getting the hang of it slowly. I did find some pics were not as sharp as I would have liked and the 200 end but pretty sure that is down to me.
Padraig many thanks. It is very very fast when set up right :DeviejeanParticipantfergieParticipantNice shots Connie and from all I have read and seen from the 7D it seems like a serious piece of kit. The strange pigeon is a fledgling wood pigeon. They are strange looking wee dudes. The only other thing I would say is try and not make your subjects too central in the frame. The robin would be that wee bit better with a bit more room on the right. Apart from that it’s spot on.
hotjohn01ParticipantconnieParticipantsorry for the late reply folks. Thanks for the complements.
Thanks for identifying it Fergie. I am working on and reading up on composition as this is something I definately have to work on. Will go back to that Robin and redo it. :D
