First Studio Shots

Folks these are my first studio shots using a Nikon D80 with a 18 200 VR lense .Please feel free to comment on the shots .

Dave,

First off I know nought as portraiture so I’m not going to comment on lighting,
but I think that these are a good set of photos, relaxed subject from what I can see.
Only one which doesnt do it for me personally is the second one due to the lighting (oops a comment :) )

Was just looking again,the second pic looks as if it need’s a light on the left side,reflector or something.
