First wedding shoot
-
dercunnParticipant
Hi ,
here are some pic’s of my first and only wedding shoot ! C&C welcome
regards dercunnalfapixelsParticipantI’m no wedding photographer, but I think they are very good. It’s a pity about the groom’s expression in the first one – the bride looks really relaxed but his smile looks a bit forced. The third shot I think is excellent. The last one, I’m wondering if it’s a little over-processed ? It’s like they’re running into a storm :-)
I’d be delighted with myself if they were my first wedding shots though – well done.
dercunnParticipantThanks for the comment ,
the third one was the best received photo (also my favourite) and one that I had not planned to take but just happened as we were moving from one location on beach to another .This day on the beach was nearly perect for shooting as there was no direct sunlight as it was quite cloudy but it was very windy and this made alot of my ideas very difficult to put together . Yes the last one is very heavyly processed but again it was received well by the B&G ,
Derek.DenverDollParticipantI think the third one is delightful!
It just has so much energy and charm. The color is gorgeous as well. The fourth one has a really interesting mood to it.
The bride and groom look fabulous..but somehow it says something more than a traditional shot. To me is sort of suggests that either they are heading into a storm…or ready to face a storm. Which isn’t a bad thing…by any means….I know that sounds odd  I just don’t see it as a particularly boring rosy photo :DShar
dercunnParticipantI totally agree with you on the fourth picture , this is what it suggested to me when I saw this first after downloading and to me that is what I aspire to . Wedding photos should suggest something whether it be romance ,love, friendship, happiness etc …
This picture suggested something a bit different , quirky . The sky was very overcast and the fact that its just the two of them in the wide open it set a different mood and so I leant towards this when processing this in Photoshop and this is what I came up with . thanks for your input ,
regards Derek.
