[FIRST WEDDING] Some Pics of My Sisters Wedding

This is the first time I have done wedding shots, they asked for a non posing type of wedding so here is some. Please C&C most welcome….

Hmmmm…
How to start? The first and the last photos are definitely posed.
Not a single one is sharp.
Some of them have problem with White Balance and exposition.To be honest I would not be happy getting such photos from my wedding day :(
Hope there was a second photographer.Burner, they are altered using a photshop action which puts a slight gaussian blur on them….
if i was you i would remove the blur and re-sharpen they all seem to have a shallow dof should have opened up a bit more abit of correction in ps would sort them out. i see you used fill flash was the conditions correct for this

Got to agree with Burner and DerryCity, they are soft, very soft…..
In fact I’m very surprised you put these up for C&C the way they are?
If you were going for something experimental and artistic it’s def failed using a wedding as the subject.I was trying for the look of this local photographer …
I know this is probably doen using filters, experience and expensive equipment.
I’m no wedding expert but you went for the look on natural photographs/poses, that guy obviously has her posed to bits, it’s how shall I put this 2 total diff scenarios as in ya maybe you can get away with blur with certain poses but to use in an everyday situation natural pose it def fails.
Not trying to be too hard ‘cos I know it’s important to experiment at times to progress.:)
If you are looking for inspiration type in google: Joe Buissink, Jerry Ghionis, Becker, Cliff Mautner, Jules Bianchi those are one of my favorites ;)
Be inspired by them and try to find your style.
But remember. Firstly it needs to be a simple photo with great quality. After that you can experiment with post processing.All the best :)

Wouldn’t be too gone on the first of these two. Looks way overdone.
i think people that want unposed photos don’t realise that there’s actually a lot of posing to achieve the look they want. its like girls who look like they’re not wearing make up but actually spend ages getting the natural look. does that make sense? there is an element of having great unposed photos but more often than not they have to be aware that there is a photographer and make sure they have their game face on.
it would be interesting to see some of your photos without the blur as you seem to have captured some nice moments.

MCDPHOTOGRAPHY its harsh when you post something that you might like and it gets the reaction its gotten so far. Firstly I think the soft imaGE look made in PS is to much , but thats something that you can undo other than that i like some of them i think they are really good
the first is cent’ to much for me im sure you know its more pleasing to one side but if you really wanted the center look prehaps if you had mover them back into the circle thing theuy are standing in it would have made some impact in a visual way.
2 i think is wonderful sure you can nit pick abit about it, but you can do that with most photos again dont like the ammount of softness.
3 is nice i wont mention the softness agin.
4 is a nice one and im sure would fit into the over all album very well
5 i just dont like sry, but not every photo taken at a wedding is a keeper
6 same as 5 sry
7 same as above although it is better slightly
8 I like .
9 same as number 1. as in the same comment although the portrait mode works better
I think wedding photography is one of the hardest to master alot do it ok, some do it very good, and then some are excellent, but one thing im sure of is those that are really at the top of the game where once just OK.
I hate forums that just want to rip into someones best efforts while showing nothing better themselves…………….Im a great footballer from my armchair.
