Fjord Ireland

From a couple of years back recently processed with better knowledge this is the only Fjord in Ireland I”m lead to believe. Almost down as far as Killary Harbour in the wesht.

Thanks Mark. I had trouble with my monitors between calibration and viewing angle but the sky is a little darker (a lot darker) than intended.

It’s quiet around these parts, eh? Hope to make a contribution again…the buzz is back.

I am sure I read somewhere that technically it isn’t a fjord. Probably due to the cut backs. Not sure why….. or why I remember.

The sky (and to lesser extent the bottom) are unnaturally dark, but it suits the image – which I like btw.

I find that the black clouds make the picture too un-natural for me.

I like the dark clouds as it brings up the colours all the more and gives the image a colourful yet ominous feel. I find the dark strip at the bottom off putting though.

ah jaysus no more than meself, wonka’s back !

nice image alan, i know the area well, yes its irelands only fjord.

its hard to get a nice image, though this one is nice, pity about
all these fish farms in the fjord.

i would crop out a little more of the sky and foreground to give
a 3:1 crop!

Thanks for the comments folks. As per previous notes this was done on a badly out of sync, un-calibrated monitor so it is overdone…even for my tastes. But I accept all feedback and thanks for taking the time.
Hi Alan – gettin’ the buzz again so I said I’d “pop in” to see what the craic is. Still some of the old names knocking around…even Mark!
