Flash for 500d

IMO U should wait for the flash because in my box diffuser was included :-)

hiya Chris,i got the flash last week,but alas no diffuser with it,thou there is the one built in on the top you slide down?would that suffice?sorry but new to this.

Jonon the top of flash U should have got small reflector (look like a small piece of paper) + wide angle diffuser, a piece of clear plastic the same size as reflector, i usually use this one, because i usually reflects the light from the ceiling and walls, but sometimes you will need additional diffuser as well :-)

Got this flash last week after reading through this thread. What a bargain, don’t have much experience with off camera flash but the results, i think, are astonishing. So glad I got this and not one of the cheaper speedlights, the ability to tilt the angle of the flash is like night and day, really removes that harshness and gives such a subtle clarity whilst keeping that ambience. Will upload some of the tests later to see what you camera buffs think. I find using the flash is like starting to learn how to take photos all over again :lol:
