Flash Gun for Canon

Hello all! First post here New to photography but hope to contribute to the other forums soon.

I’ve just acquired a Canon 30D and would love to get a flash gun. I’m based in Cork but will be travelling to Maynooth/Dublin/Drogheda in the next few days. Would love to get the flash before a function on Tuesday the 24th. Hoping to spend between 100-150 but will spend more if it’s a fantastic flash. :D
