Flav "craving to be second shooter" Dublin

Hello! My name is Flav (short for Flaviu) and i’ve been looking for a photographic online community for some time now, just didn’t know of any, so i just googled and here i am.
I’m 23 and i’m a student in music and I’ll be staying in Dublin for at least one more year when i finish my academic year here.
I’ve been a shutterbug for the last 5 years, shooting away the shutter of my 350D, later 5D and now 1Ds II at most things i found interesting, it’s a ritual to me to take photos whenever i go some place, it’s almost unconceivable to me to visit a new place and not take loads of pictures. But every day i shoot less and less, blaming anything from atmospheric conditions to camera weight to mood. I’m thinking of buying a second, smaller camera to start urban photography, but i wouldn’t give up my 1Ds, after all, it’s been 5 years since i wanted it :D
I’m trying to become a professional photographer, my main career being a bit unsustainable (conducting… yeah, i sure know how to pick’em). I don’t have a vast portfolio and nothing very recent, but some of my stuff can be found on http://flavmogo.blogspot.com.
I’m looking to work as a second shooter for anyone looking, my “commercial” experience is 2 weddings i did by myself for close friends.
Other than that i’m looking learn and share ideas, concepts and thoughts.
