Fly through pane of glass

I used a very inexpensive 18-200mm Tamron.

The picture is heavily cropped, although it did have the desired effect on my kids when I showed it full screen.
I am looking for a lens to bring on hols with me and i am thinking about the 18-200. How do u find the tamron ?
It’s a good lens, same size as a kit lens when closed, very light. Extends in 3 pieces rather than 2, very clever engineering I think. You can get them new for as little as €150-€160, a great walk-around lens.
It’s no ‘L’ lens but the price………….massive focal range, decent glass, light, smooth zoom, AF speed and noise is OK.
It was the first additional lens I bought when I used Sony Alpha, and It was the first lens I bought when I switched to Canon.
