can anyone tell what this thing is found it tonight sucking the life out of this small caterpillar

I guess that is why it is so interesting and fun to shoot. Lucky you – that you were there for the crucial moment (or something).I am amazed by the detail in these in these pics. I still think flies are icky, but it is fascinating to see all the components that make them. Makes me want a macro lens, but pity I have zero euros.

Smbee you can buy a set of Kenko extension tubes which do a great job and stick it on any lens and you can get great detail as well
