    Hi all,
    In these last weeks, I was thinking about food photography as something I’d like to give it a go….. some of you is into it??? It seems a not so popular kind of photography but personally I think it’s very interesting…. I’d be also interested to know if any of you can share some “professional ” experience about it, I mean: is it possible a carrer as food photographer and how?????

    Thanks :D

    Ciao Alessia, and welcome back! :)

    is it possible to make a living with it? I think so, it’s a niche, but just as in so many other situations, i think what makes you succeed is not the size of the market, but the quality of your product. Having other sources of income helps a lot, and there are many photographers out there who make a more than decent living by “occupying” two or three different niches and being amazingly good at what they do.
    I don’t know much about food photography, but I stumbled upon Kevin Clark’s photography a while ago, and I think he’s amazing. Take a look at one of his websites (as I wrote earlier, he’s not just a food photographer, he does other things as well): http://www.kevinclarkedibles.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
    Hope it helps at least for inspiration :)
    Ciao!

    This may be a good place to start – build your own lighting studio and play with dishes as you cook them!

    Good luck :D
