Pretty sweet to get that close. Nice colour and sharpness/detail.
It’s a bit centred horizontally, i.e. too much space above the heron. Might have been better if you place the youngster higher in the frame.
Thanks Aidan, your wish is my command! I was staying low because I didn’t want the ugly railings in the shot. Here’s a better one but the railing is becoming visible in the bottom rhs…
Much better. A bit of careful cloning will take care of that railing for ya!
I agree – the second is prob a better shot alright. Thanks guys. Now where’s me cloning brush!
