Renowned photojournalist and Magnum photographer Bruce Davidson has been acclaimed for over half a century for his searing images of street gangs, circus performers and the civil rights struggles of the 1960s, all captured with a remarkable directness, truth and power that transcends the concept of style.
Yes, quite a misleading video actually, but in other places where I have seen it, has led to a nice discussion on Davidson and his work. Thought it would have been more productive for Leica to have simply promoted Davidson rather than themselves.
Some very nice work from Davidson, over many decades, but to think he did it all with a Leica is a fairytale..
I’m still trying to find the whole documentary somewhere but this http://vimeo.com/33169064″ onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false;
I thought was a very good insight into what he did.

A very nice little excerpt, if you ever track down the whole documentary, do keep us posted :)
